I shot this photo of Declan in Newcastle City Hall on the Zeros Tour, it was a turbulent evening. The tour itself was scheduled for right after the last of the covid lockdowns. We were of course dealing with the post-lockdown workplace testing and cautionary measures and were reminded of the risks this night. One or two people on camp got covid and had to begin self-isolating mid-tour. A real whitener of a situation. I don't remember it like that now though, I remember the laxy daisy words shared with the doorman over a cigarette, I remember click clacking with my mamiya backstage while everyone gabbed over deliveroo'd nandos, I remember feeling settled on tour for the first time. Nice night.
